Professional Driving School courses do not fulfill the requirements for court-ordered plea bargains, demerit point reductions or DUI schools.  See Demerit Points, Traffic Safety Schools or DUI Schools.

Professional driving schools offer general drivers education to motorists of all ages. Drivers education is required for most beginning drivers under 18 years of age. It is not required for beginning drivers 18 or older.

DMV does not license drivers education programs offered in Nevada high schools and colleges. Those programs are not listed here.

Schools can be certified in any of three specialty areas:  Minor Drivers Education, General Classroom Instruction and Behind The Wheel. The certification for each school listed below is indicated underneath its DMV license number:

• Minor - Minor Drivers Education (for beginning drivers under 18 years of age)
• Class - General Classroom Instruction (does not fulfill Minor Drivers Education requirement)
• BTW - Behind The Wheel Training

The DMV licenses and monitors schools but does not regulate pricing or schedules. These listings are provided as a courtesy to the public. The DMV does not rate, endorse or recommend schools.
