Law Enforcement Cadets Graduate
From Nevada Law Enforcement Academy

Friday will mark the culmination of three months of intense training for the forty-three graduates of the Nevada Law Enforcement Academy. Graduation ceremonies will be held Friday, April 24 at 2:00 pm in the Bob Boldrick Theatre in the Carson City Community Center at 851 East Williams.

"This graduation ceremony marks the successful completion of fifteen weeks of intense, live-in training and evaluation by the instructors of the Nevada Law Enforcement Academy," said Dick Clark, Chief of the Training Division of the Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety.

Academy Commander Dennis Kollar added, "These cadets will now return to their respective law enforcement agencies to complete their department-specific training. They will then be ready to begin their new careers as law enforcement officers."

Keynote speaker at Thursday's graduation ceremony is Chief Michael Murphy, Chief of the Mesquite Police Department.

The Nevada Law Enforcement Academy is part of the Training Division of the Department of Motor Vehicles and Public Safety. A complete list of graduates and their respective agencies is attached.
