Notice of Hearing to Solicit Comments on Proposed RegulationThe Department of Motor Vehicles, Research & Development Division, 555 Wright Way, Carson City, NV 89711, (775) 684-4778, is proposing the Amendment of regulations pertaining to Chapter 483 of Nevada Administrative Code. A Hearing has been scheduled for the following date and time:
The purpose of the Hearing is to solicit comments from interested persons on the following general topics that will be addressed in the proposed regulations. Items will be discussed in the order listed: Proposed Regulation of the Department of Motor Vehicles The Department of Motor Vehicles is proposing new and amended language regarding the issuance of a driver’s license or identification card; the proposed amendments revise the documentation requirements for both standard and an advanced secure card, valid for official federal purposes. The proposed new and amended language outlines expiration requirements, defines information to be contained on the face of the card, and clarifies eligibility requirements for renewal of a driver’s license or identification card by mail.
