Appointments for general services are offered at the offices in Carson City, Henderson, Las Vegas and Reno. Appointments will be offered soon at the commercial driver's license offices and in several rural offices. See Locations for our other offices.
Drive test appointments are offered at all offices. The Carson City office will not be conducting CDL or Motorcycle drive tests through September 30 due to parking lot rehabilitation.
Visit Online Services before you make an appointment. You may not have to visit an office at all. You can change your address online, handle most insurance issues and much more!
Please ensure you are choosing the correct office.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early and visit the Information counter prior to your appointment. Make sure you have the documents required for your transaction. Fill out any forms in advance.
All customers must check in at the Information counter and be in the building prior to closing.
We do not accept appointments from dealers or third-party registration services. Companies should use the established procedures.

Real ID vs. Standard License/ID
All applicants for a Nevada driver's license or ID card must choose between a "Real ID" card or a standard Nevada license or ID. This includes renewals and duplicates. A standard license will not be accepted for boarding aircraft beginning October 1, 2020.
